Tara Reid has denied claims that she has signed on to appear in the upcoming comedy horror sequel Piranha 3DD.
It was recently claimed that the former American Pie star had been cast in the film alongside Glee actor Mark Salling. However, Reid has now clarified the situation.
"I don't even know what that's about," she told Entertainment Weekly this weekend. "We knew nothing about that.
"We don't even know where that came from," the actress added.
Following the reports, a spokesperson for the Weinstein Company confirmed that neither actor has signed on for the sequel at the present time.
Feast director John Gulager will helm the follow-up to last year's remake, and it is believed that Ving Rhames is in talks to return for the second film.
It was recently reported that Reid was among the original cast members considering signing on for a new American Pie movie.
