Abbie Cornish has said that she enjoyed shooting a gun on the Sucker Punch set.
Cornish plays an armed institutionalised girl named Sweet Pea in the upcoming action film directed by Zack Snyder.
In an interview with GQ, Cornish admitted that she never wanted to shoot a gun before filming the movie, but her experience on the set changed her outlook.
"I'm a vegetarian - I'm not the type to want to go shoot a gun. Then I actually got to the range and totally fell in love with an M4. It was kind of amazing," said the 28-year-old, who split from ex-boyfriend Ryan Phillippe last year.
Sucker Punch opens on March 25 in US cinemas and on April 1 in the UK.
Cornish's next film is the Madonna-directed drama W.E..
