Om Puri teases third 'East' film
Om Puri has suggested a possible plot for a third film in the series started by East Is East.
Sequel West Is West premiered at last year's BFI London Film Festival and goes on general release this Friday.
Om Puri was asked about plans for a third film and whether it would be called South Is South or North Is North
"Maybe it can be called East Meets West," Puri told Metro. "Maybe it could look at George Khan when he's old.
"Maybe he's sick and the family in Pakistan comes and joins the family in Britain as the patriarch is going to his death or the last days of his life. A kind of happy reunion of the children."

Hi
ReplyDeleteA very happy new year to you!
I saw that you had mentioned West is West / Om Puri mentioned (http://scottwhitear.blogspot.com/2011/02/om-puri-teases-third-east-film.html) and wanted to quickly let you know about an innovative new platform we have just launched called Distrify (www.distrify.com), It is proving massively successful in changing the way movies are distributed online.
We plan to enhance and transform the landscape of film distribution by connecting bloggers and film-makers. By embedding a trailer that allows people to pay and watch West is West on your site, you can drive up engagement of your audience [the time they spend on you site], and also create a revenue stream for you.
Anytime anyone purchases based on your recommendation, a 10% commission is automatically tracked and applied to your account. The link is automatically generated and is personal to you. All you have to do is to embed the player on your blog and Distrify does the rest. .
Don’t worry, I haven’t added you to any lists and I won’t be spamming you, but if you like the idea, here’s the URL you can visit - http://distrify.com/films/826-west-is-west/affiliates?widget_id=2254.
Thank again for your time. We hope you will join us in this rewarding new venture, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for your time,
Neha Dhawan
