Simon Pegg has praised the "extraordinary" visual look of Steven Spielberg's upcoming 3D performance-capture movie The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.
Pegg, who appears as Inspector Thompson alongside his Paul co-star Nick Frost's Thomson, revealed that he got to see some of the completed movie during a recent dialogue recording session in New Zealand.
"We saw some of the finished film, it looks extraordinary. It's just very beautiful and I think it's going to be great," Pegg said.
Speaking about the look of Thompson and Thomson, often referred to as 'the twins' although they aren't related, Pegg added of the characters: "The film looks like Hergé's drawings so we've met in the middle and are two moustachioed, bulbous-nosed detectives."
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will open on October 26 in the UK and on December 23 in the US.
